A Drunk takes out custom mailbox at 2504 N. Mountain. He was apparently so drunk he thought he was in South Whittier. The driver missed the first curve on up-bound Mountain and ended up in the driveway at 2504. The driver fled the scene of the accident and the police found the driver near Thompson Creek Trail. The car was totaled, and the driver arrested by Claremont PD.
There have been many accidents on this curve but this is the first I’ve witnessed going uphill. Not easy to do.
